What happens to creativity when ownership is undefined? Banana Voodoo is an audio film about that question. It follows a lyricist and an AI mechanism called Q503 through fourteen songs of increasingly unstable authorship. As meaning dissolves into a digital hallucination, only one question remains: Who is actually speaking?

As a freelance video editor and motion designer, I have lost jobs to AI and taken jobs because of it. Banana Voodoo sits inside that contradiction without resolving it.

Banana Voodoo can be experienced as audio alone, but the full work is a visual album that makes the collaboration visible — the lyricist's inputs and Q503's outputs in real time, on screen, as the music plays. The visual album is in production.
