His red hand scratches my neck
Delicate, violent, he leaves his mark
I’m elegant, divine, but only from his eye
For he is the master and I am the subject
He is nothing without his power, his lust
And while he toys with demons
I wait, wide-eyed for his instruction.
I do not need him, for I’ve devoured snakes denser than he
I want him to control me like a marionette
My body is his canvas
My face is his clay
And his touch is my breath away from the throne
I could eat him, like the others before him
Yet he does not fear me —
the diamond duchess
the white widow of royality
He does not fear me
That is why he controls me
But when he betrays me, which he will, when he thinks he has proper control, I will ravage his insides with my teeth and re-emerge a crimson queen. His fate is inevitable, infinite.
But for now, I embrace his red hand
Silk Walled Room
a song about leaving isolation and finding safety through connection
-
What is the world coming to
Everyone leaves each other in the dirt
I’m a lucky one cause I have a place
Where dogs don’t eat dogsI have a silk-walled room and
I don’t worry about the outside
I am safe when I’m aloneMaybe I should change what I’m doing here
There’s no excitement there’s no fear
Is solitude really luck?
If I leave now, I will have a chanceTo join the great big world
Even though, people are evil
I am safe with others aroundI have a silk-walled room and
I don’t worry about the outside
I am safe with others aroundThat’s when I met you, lisping girl
This feeling is there when your not
When the world ends I’m sure we won’t
And when I run away, you will tooWe’ll run to my silk-walled room
We won’t worry about the outside
We are safe with each other aroundI have a silk-walled room and
I don’t worry about the outside
We are safe with each other around

Lost Orchestras
V2
Verse 1
Consume hell’s pyre
I’m burning up
Scorch my desires
Can’t get enough
Restrain your ghost
Turn out the light
Paint your body in the moon’s white
Verse 2
Soak in the beach choir’s
forbidden theme
your hem catches fire
Your cold eyes beam
In the soot I chase you
Up the rockface
Beneath the whitecaps Looms your disgrace
Chorus 1
Cause I know you know I know we know
You won’t see me again
I’ve seen you looking for me in lost orchestras
But you won’t see me again
Verse 3
Your skiffs arranged
Our faces swap
Like prairie vole estranged
I’ll live in rot
Do you think of me
An extinguished plight
Did the winds of your parting
Guide passage through the night
Chorus 2
Cause I know you know I know we know
You won’t see me again
But you know I know that you still love me so
I’m chained beneath the sea tides with sin
Outro
As you grow older our love is played on instruments and you will hear it again and again
As you grow older our love is played on instruments and you will hear it again and again
As you grow older our love is played on instruments and you will hear it again and again
As you grow older our love is played on instruments and you will hear it again and again
As you grow older our love is played on instruments and you will hear it again and again
again
and
again
and
again
Lost Orchestras

Verse 1
Coming on like hellfire
I’m burning up
Is it passion or desire
Can’t have enough
And I’ve seen your green ghost
Turn out the lights
As I paint your body In the moon light
Verse 2
We sing around the campfire
Our only theme
And when you catch fire
Your cold eyes beam
On the beach I chase you
Up the rockface
Hiding in the dark mist an inner disgrace
Chorus 1
Cause I know you know I know we know
You won’t see me again
I’ve seen you looking for me in lost orchestras
But you won’t see me again
Verse 3
The pastels are with you
Our faces trade
I can feel it in your soul
You can’t be swayed
For you must leave now
Our time is up
I try to hold on
But I’m burning up
Chorus 2
Cause I know you know I know we know
You won’t see me again
But you know I know that you still love me so
I stare down our beach cliffs again

Matriarch
a song written for my grandma after her passing, one of our last conversations was about her favorite movie Dumbo, which is woven into the lyrics and feel
-
Elephants are loyal
They look out for their herd
And they foster memories
And comfort those who are sadElephants will voyage
in parades across great plains
and they’ll join other herds
Especially those who need protectionThey’re a matriarchal society
where mother teaches calfs manners
And calfs stay by momma’s side
Til their ready to start their own paradeBut as the mother grows old
Her children return
They’ll stand tall with the departed
So we must stand tall for herCause she taught us our manners
Cause she taught us how to protect our herd
Cause she taught us the joins of raising a calf
Cause she taught us to remember to love one anotherShe’s the great forest matriarch
And she’s heading to the sky
Above the world like Dumbo
We always knew she could flyShe can fly. She can fly.
She can fly. She can fly.
She can fly. She can fly.
She can fly. So high. She can fly. She can fly.
She flies.

Jabberwocky’s Lullaby
When you’re lost amongst the trees,
Search for water. Find the rising stream.
Down the river, do not drown.
Slip by shadows without a sound.
When you cannot reach the seas.
Look around you. Pray it’s not a dream.
Pinch yourself until you frown.
Careful now. Nightmares inbound.
When you cannot seem to scream
Jabberwocky plays a nasty scheme
Eyes wide open. Feet are bound.
It’s claw tickles when up is down.
As it’s cockeyed faces grin
Stab it’s pale tooth deep within your skin
Pierce your heart to cut its binds
But if you miss the end is nigh
On the advent of your death
Jabberwocky engulfs your last breath
Suckling your blood and bones,
it leaves your skin lying alone
As your soul leaves the deceased
You’re transported to the highest seas
Trace the sunset with your eyes
One day I’ll meet you in the skies
Ghost in the Green Light
a confessional song of love, shame, and self destruction
-
who do you think you are
you've got no one else to blame
I watched in the rain by cold frames
it’s you who’s drenched
in the shameI am the lonely man
there’s no need to smite
I was s’possed to be her white knightwhy do you think you're here
the desires you couldn't tame
but you disclaim
you take aim
at the man you wronged - what’s my name?I don’t want to be lonely, man
so, tonight I’ll rewrite
come here man, let me tell you something triteThere ain't no news about your muse!
This ain’t no ruse, I exclaim!
Please excuse the accused!
And the dues you’ve come to claim!
It was the booze!
It was the schmooze!
Please snooze, you’re so lame!
I don’t know who’s got more to lose!
Since I refused I defamed your dame! Please don’t will me for!
I am the lonely man
can’t sleep in hindsight
so I’ll go upstairs and extricate my plightfor I’m a weak, lonely man
without the foresight
that I’d cue a second midnight slightthe desperate, lonely man
rejects himself tonight
and he stays with her until first lightgood night

Rich People fucking suck
They control everything and everyone
They decide what we think and when we think it
Cause they can pay the media for that priviledgeThat’s why advertising is fucking digusting
It’s the reason we can’t quit smoking
It’s the reason women shave their legs
The poor stay poor, the rich stay richCause Rich People Fucking Suck
But we all gotta work for them anyways
They control our world, they control our jobs,
They decide how much healthcare we have a right to -
Capitalism fucking sucks
How is this the best we got
We have poor people fighting each other,
taking cuts on the dollar, while inflation goes upIt’s a struggle to the bottom while the rich people remain,
gettin’ rid of libraries, and raising rent not wages
and gettin rid dysfunctional government programs, they created,
but don’t replace them with anything better.Cause Rich People Fucking Suck
They’ve always sucked, Americans are the worst of them
They say Americas the place where poor can become rich and your dreams come trueBut that’s a lie
The two party system fucking sucks
We’re a country of shit-slingers, mouths before ears
They take advantage of one-issue voters
That’s why gays got rights, that’s why babies got rights,
It’s why blacks got rights, and japs and jews got rights.
Democrats and republicans don’t care about what’s right
All they care about is agreeing with the most people to get the votes they need to get their friends jobs -
And global warming is a phenomneon with liberal preaching for the earth, while low income farmers are being taxed and fined for environmental violations that they think farming corporations created in order to push them out of business, so while our people are losing the fight against the rich, they have other poor people from another region scream at them about a cause, they may agree with if they came from another perspective, but they don’t care cause they’re at a lower point in Maslow’s hierarchy.
And right to bare arms had no meaning or relevance to owning guns until the black panthers decided to wield guns outside a courthouse causing rich, white racists to freak out and develop the idea of gun rights by reinterpreting the 2nd amendment in order to make sure white people had more guns than blacks. The irony is no one was going to ever take anyone’s guns away.
And abortion and gay rights aren’t argued for morality reasons but because politicians are dividing up our nation to attempt to come out on top. It’s a broken system that keep good, honest people struggling their whole lives to feed their families while shitty, power-hungry politicians and corporations sit above everyone else trying to ammass more power than their competition. The smartest thing the powerful has ever done is label barely provable theories conspiracies, and remind the sad, poor, and hungry workers in factories that "hey, it could be worse, your white and man, so just be better then those blacks, mexicans, hispanics, and asians and be better then those women, cause that’s all you have in order to feel like your better or more successful then anyone else."
And the shit slinging, label makers on the left, coming up with endless terms and words just to fight a change they want to see, but in practice or implementation outside of spoken words, most do nothing. Why can’t I converse with someone I agree with, without sharing that I definitely agree with them before bringing up some holes in their theory. Why is everything about privilege, said the privileged white man who grew up in a family where his parents are still together and everyone is alive and healthy. But I got distracted, we’re so easily distracted our neighbors whom we disagree with that we forget that they have little to no power and the true enemy is the people in charge. Money is the corruptor, and the people picking berries, living in poor neighborhoods, rural or urban, blue or red, they are not the enemy. We need to stand united as purple people to take back what we deserve — the most comfortable and satisfying life our current world can give us.
But there are so many things about america that is broken. We have regulated industries spreading opioids, Flint Michigan still doesn’t have clean water, domestic terrorism is at an all time high, news outlets have profitted the most money on days of school shootings of Parkland and Columbine. We need to understand why conspiracy theorists are responding to Parkland in the way they are… it isn’t about the fact that it didn’t happen, it’s that so many companies and publishers regularly profit hugely off of these events, leading some to believe that they it was faked to stay afloat. It’s a comforting thought next to the truth, but also isn’t entirely unreasonable considering how corrupt and evil the money holders are.
Panama Papers, don’t forget Panama Papers. While we freak out that Amazon didn’t pay any federal taxes, millions of dollars are funneled to Panama by corporate tax dodgers and off-shore accounts to save share holders millions while the poor work tirelessly in non air conditioned factories leading pregnant women to lose their children.
While we the hapless environmentalist screams and blames his neighbor for buying a can of hair spray, corporations are pumping thousands of pollutants across the world. Global warming isn’t about individual change, as much as it is about changing how businesses are functioning.
While the media has it’s most profitable day, children are being slaughtered by the mentally sick with guns they shouldn’t have a right to buy. All while money from the NRA is funding politicians to keep their profits up to blame and convert t
It goes like this
And here we have the democratic parties most corporate candidate who’s mixed in with billionaire money and has sexual assault allegation against him. How his this the best person for the job? The coronavirus this and we put in a safe, nostalgic, corporate-owned Wonder Bread candidate with sexual assault allegations that we’re buried by the media. How about we get a populist back in office, you know, someone who’s for the people? Like the consistution says in the first line? Where does it mention corporations being people in the constitution? Where does it mention how many yachts you can have? Where does it mention years of socio-economic racism against blacks across america, while pretending to give people opportunity when we don’t?
